People don't know what they need.
You show them
Hey there!
How were your holidays?
Let’s start this new year with a super useful topic : effective communication.
Have you ever been in a situation where someone asks you for something, but they're not sure what they really need?
It's like your friend saying, "I'm hungry," but they don't know what they want to eat.
This happens a lot, and not just with food!
Picture an engineer.
His boss gives him a project, but the instructions are not clear.
Or they just make no sense.
The engineer could just guess and start working.
That might not be the best idea.
they never get what they actually need
Instead, he sits down with his boss and asks questions.
Together, they figure out what the project really needs.
This is super important.
Why?
Because understanding what someone actually wants or needs can save time and make things better.
This is a skill you can learn, too!
It's all about listening and asking the right questions.
When someone asks you for help or tells you they need something, take a moment.
Ask them more about what they're thinking.
Help them describe their ideas better.
It's like being a detective, but for thoughts and ideas!
now they get what they need!
Why is this so important?
Because when we help others clarify their thoughts, we make things easier and better for everyone.
Projects can be done faster and better.
Friends can get the help they really need.
And guess what?
You'll learn a lot, too!
So, next time someone comes to you with a vague idea or request, don't just jump in.
(don't reject them either!)
Talk to them.
Ask questions.
Help them figure out what they really need or want.
It's a superpower that can make a big difference in school, work, and life!
Keep this in mind, and you'll be a great help to those around you.
Keep learning and helping, and see how much smoother things can go!
See you next time,
